NO OTHER BRAND defined an era like Magnum Marine. It did not matter how much money you had - you had to BE somebody to earn the privilege and the right to build a Magnum.
A perfect segue into this 50's birth. Custom built & designed by the Rothschild family in Europe, they commissioned Winch Designs to draw the cabin of this 50.
This is hull #16 - the last & final 50 ever built with the flared-nostril deck design. This design was required per MTU's specifications to provide adequate air for her MONSTER M91 12V2000 Series, 1,480 HP diesel engines.
This is the fastest 50 Magnum ever built (70mph)!!! Fully restored by the current owners Michigan shipyard 3 years ago & has been in fresh water ever since!

These engines are good for 400,000 gallons of fuel running through them, approximately 7,000-10,000 hours total before rebuilds. Hours don’t matter, it’s the amount of fuel that runs through them.
